Isn't it more about getting everyone on the same platform to reduce the horrendous amount of work involved in supporting older versions some of which are hard to patch to up to date security standards? All that effort can be channelled into on version and make it safer.

I'm not doing that well with battery life with Android M. Is it hard to install a different ROM?

I've got marshmallow now too. I have turned on battery saving as it has used over 40% in the first 5 hours of use. I'm hoping this will make it last better. I'll report back tomorrow.

You could do a reset of the machine - (settings app/update& security/ Recovery) which re-installs Windows whilst leaving your data intact. I would try starting a new account on the machine and see if that one works properly first.

It would be nice to know what the basis of issue for the Haribo is. It seems that some lower value orders get Haribo and bigger orders sometimes don't.

Well tried everything and eventually reinstalled Windows 7 and then upgraded to 10 and it all works now. It wasn't ideal but not being able to install .msi files is quite serious.
