Archive of older stuff? I would not recommend trying to split the PST. There is a 2gig limit to a PST file so you should not really be having many problems at the moment.

I do not think it is a cost cutting thing, well it is but not in the way you might think. People do not want to pay 'high' prices for goods so manufactures have to cut costs so they can market their goods at a price people are happy with.

Nope running in 800x600 you are going to struggle with form design. Only suggestion I can think of is design it small and set the real sizes by code, this will be a right pain in the arse though.

VS 2003 v7.1 will produce .NET 1.1 and VS 2005 v8.0 will produce .NET 2.0, neither of them can produce the other, but they will happily work side by side.

Ah right I see. You can fill a DataTable and the disconnect, modify the DataTable, Reconnect ot the Database and Dave the changes.
