You pay a premium for range cookers for the twee asthetic and a lot of the mid range products are actually surprisingly poor quality for the money you spend so my advise is don't bother unless you want the look. They are also a pain to keep clean with freestanding sides collecting gubbins.
Just read through several pages of this thread and some seriously cool stuff you are fixing there, inspiring to read. Sorry if it's been asked before, but are you doing this as a business or a hobby?
I would imagine cleaning up would be a bit of a faff. Sousvide bags always end up proper manky with stuck on proteins and grease. Plastic is always a pain to get fats off of
11k on a 1.0 fiesta. Yikes!! I'd have spent a lot less on an older car and factored in the fact that it's going to get knocked about a bit, but each to their own.
Can you close a piece of compressible packaging foam in the door? That may close up the gap as and when needed, mean you can still open the door and won't dissappear when driving
As long as you don't care too much about homogeneity and can cope with the weight/ anxiety about breaking the work top or your toes with accidental drops I should add
Decent sized Granite p&m is great for quick go to for pastes and spices and much less hassle to setup clean and put away than a food processor in my opinion.

Glad to hear. I'm fine with the material on the interface it just doesn't sit comfortably on my face which seems to be a common issue. My main intent with the das was to stop my wife complaining about the noise as the speakers are quite annoying to others in the room.
Got some adaptors for vive DAS for cheap and cheerful fix. Works reasonably well but I'm finding it slips forward during extended vigorous sessions. I think this is due to the shape of the facial interface. Need to sus out a solution might try a couterweight
Does anyone know whether the material facial interfaces will be an option to come with the headset as default? at the moment I can only see it as an optional extra. Can't cope with the silicone interfaces

Excellent info there, thanks for posting
Even whilst hearing all of the horror stories I'm still tempted!!
Currently running a tatty 2005 suburu legacy H6 Rspec b as the family waggon which was purchased at £1500 a few years ago which i spent about 1k putting right. Put 50 k miles on that and...
