Depends how busy the machine is, and when it was last filled. Average where I live is around £120K when just filled (remote sites filled by security company). Branch machines often carry less during quiet periods. 2 strong men with a sack barrow can move a full-size through-the-wall ATM.

Whatever you get (FM, DAB or Freeview), you'll need a decent aerial. While a portable radio normally works OK using the telescopic antenna, most separates tuners need a roof aerial to give their best, unless you live very close to the transmitter.
