Arrived today, I know this isn’t the right thread for it (couldn’t find another one) but couple of thoughts about the white Performance 1:
Build quality is really nice, a very solid case. Glass is thick, steel panels are nice and solid, overall the case feels quality. I’m used to buying Fractal...
I ended up buying a white one coming tomorrow just because I wanted to see what it was like.
My only complaints before even seeing the case are the lack of a GPU support and glass rear panel. But I like the look of it so that swung me.
Depends, if it’s built specifically for Windows XP how is it not retro gaming…
I have a similar system I built specifically for XP with a 980Ti and a 4790k and its XP performance is insanely good (as expected haha).
Probably my E30 325i sport with a 2.7 conversion. I was about 19, cost me a fortune to insure even back then. Not only was it an absolutely superb car that I dreamed about (and still do) because I was young me and my friends were out driving in it just generally having a great time. I miss those...

This could be an option, if all else fails.
Didn’t think of AHCI, is it a known issue with Vista? I probably wrongly assumed that it supported AHCI but it’s been a LONG time since I installed Vista
I tried to install Vista today from a retail disc on to period correct hardware (Striker II Extreme, Q9650, GTX 285) and it blue screens after the installation process.
Amazing really, if a retail discs and period correct hardware doesn’t work no wonder I remember it being so badly received in...
After having the parts for ages I finally put this together. I found a new old stock boxed Antec P160 which is a rare find in the UK and spurred me on. I think it’s a stunning case, and really light as the whole frame is aluminium. Plus I love chrome. Shiny shiny.
The year is roughly 2006, I’m...
I really don’t see why not. It’s a free country.
If the NHS is trying to treat the entire population, then private healthcare is always going to offer ‘better’ treatment.
Can people not access better education if they pay for it? Better food? Where do you draw the line.
