Pumped for this. The original C&C was the game that finally persuaded me to switch from my trusty Amiga to a PC, back in 1995. Good old Gateway machine with a P75 processor I recall!

Cracked my hand off my low ceiling trying to lob the grenade into the air duct when you get to that point. Sure I wasn't the first and won't be the last! Loving this game. Chapter 5 now with about 4 hours played.

I've just played about 45 mins and all I can say is wow! I'm only running it on a (now old) Oculus CV1 but it's still great fun. About 45 mins is my limit in VR though hence I'm back here posting!

Thanks. Wiped the whole install, downloaded again and didn't touch anything in the settings other than turning head-bob off etc. Checked the game ran fine normally. Then extracted the VR mod into the dir, ran the batch file and started it up again and still not working. Back to crashing as soon...

Ok so I've managed to get it to stop crashing now - linked to TXAA being on for some reason. But I'm still getting the weird VR big screen/theatre mode display rather than actual VR.

Yeah it looks something like that, but I'm not running SteamVR (I own GTA V through rockstar launcher only). Quick google doesn't suggest Oculus Home has an equivalent feature which I need to turn off?

Strangely the v first time I ran it, it sort of worked. But rather than proper VR I kind of had a big screen picture and then the image again behind it. I quit out to try and fix that and then it never worked again! Shame as I'd like to give it a go, but I'll just wait for HL:A now.

Ah OK. Had another go now, deleted everything and tried again but same thing happens. Oh well!

Will give that a try, although suspect I may fly into a wall which I'm blaming you for! My fav tracks are def Gangnam and Daddy by Psy at the moment. Just the right level of difficulty, good songs and nice rhythm to them.

You can avoid the walls just by leaning and moving your head I've found. Can mostly do expert level songs now after about 3 months of on/off practice - gradually things that seemed impossible become possible!
