I've found the fans on mine will turn off after 20 minutes or so of being on standby assuming Eco Mode is turned on. With the setting off it'll stay on indefinitely.

The Alienware is 'out' now but a long wait as expected delivery if ordered now is October. The Samsung version is due for release in September and MSI are releasing one at some point in the next year too. It's expected that LG will be developing monitors too but no specific word on that.

Wasn't overly impressed by UPS. Once I had notification that it was dispatched on Friday I made a request for it to be delivered on Wednesday (today). I then get an email on Monday morning saying it would arrive between 10am-1pm that day... Great. So I thought they'd just attempt delivery the...

Had an email on Friday saying mine should be with me tomorrow, but I'm away until late Tuesday so I've changed the delivery to wednesday. Fingers crossed for no problems and an undamaged box!

Did anyone notice how long it took from their order going in to production to when the cancel order button was greyed out? Mines been in production now for 36 hours but according to the site I'm still able to cancel.

My guys, the stars have aligned and my order went in to production at some point today! Not sure exactly when as I didn't get a notification, but forward movement is always a good sign. Anyone with a 3rd of June estimate, check your order status on the Dell site!
