Volvo parts confusion - VIN number confirmation.

Chassis number is the last 6, so if that part is for 261 onwards and yours is 279312, it looks like they changed extremely early on! Parts software gives these part numbers (ones for chassis up to 260 removed) As another example with the chassis number stuff, on mine (V70) the fuel filter...

? clutch pedal no resistance - only change gear when motor off & sometimes when rolling.

Sounds like slave cylinder, sometimes you can pump the pedal a load and get some pressure to operate the clutch Not too bad a job to change normally (unless it's concentric, but doesn't seem to be on E46!)

    Show Us Your Motors!

Still not a fan of the looks overall, but yet to see one up close in person - that is the first I've seen in red though, and that does look good on it (not a fan of the light blue!)

What have you done to your car today?

Cover looks good although it seems odd how, in what looks like a fairly new car, a wheel could get 'cracked and beyond repair'?!

What have you done to your car today?

Don't really want to do FM due to quality but it is convenient I know, sorting power isn't an issue though

What have you done to your car today?

When you say about dual bluetooth and connecting to phone and car, can you play music from phone to car and control it via the screen? On the page it shows an aux cable for connecting to the car but I don't have an aux in (old V70) but do have a bluetooth adapter in the CD changer port which is...

    2023 Track Day Thread

Donington track/test days went well the other week, and race was going well for a while! 27th to 12 in my stint (random qualifying due to power cut at the track), next driver up to 4th, next driver stuck it in the gravel and we ended up finishing right at the back :( Off to Snetterton 300...

Measuring 60-0 mph on carwow using a 100-0 measurement

Used to be able to get ABS kicking in at >100 on Eagle F1s in my Fiat Coupe when the Carbotech pads had some temperature in, they had some bite! Got plenty of brake test data at work, will see if I can find anything from around 100-0 and 60-0 in the same car to see how the 60-0 is impacted...

Small time gap given the big difference between NS2R and A052! Scott is pretty quick too so be good to see what you can do on the A052s Never been to Knockhill but seen quite a bit from it and a few sim laps - there's more to it then you'd think from the map/layout
