New front Pilot Sport 4s on the dirty BMW.

It will sound better after a few k miles. Shame you can't hear it so well in the cabin. At least the other motorists can hear you when WOT above 4k rpm.

Is that on an E9X 6 cylinder? They sound lovely, certainly worth the 500 quid or so.

Went to change the 60k mile old spark plugs on the 126k mile old 330i. Got the engine cover and cowling off, and the fiddly coils out to find I have a 14mm spark plug socket rather than the 16mm I need. Packed the bits away and will try at the shop tomorrow.

Recently completed Watch Dogs 2, getting through Assassins Creed Origins, and starting to get into Nier Automata. Can't have too many games on the go at once! Need to complete ACO before I dedicate myself to Nier.

Just fried up some streaky bacon, a sliced chestnut mushroom, a large Clarence Court egg. Toasted a few slices of bakery granary bread. Stuck a slice of cheddar on the toast, loaded it up. Ate it.

Replaced the old, very cheap (15k miles, 30 quid for the pair) warped front discs. No more judder when slowing down with these ATE discs and Textar pads. First full brake job I've done. Had to get the breaker bar out for the caliper carrier bolts.

Took the rear passenger brake disc off to see what is making the scraping type noise, suspecting it was something to do with handbrake shoes. Couldn't see anything wrong with it. Put it back together and now find the sound is more of a squeak/creak when the rear suspension is unsettled over any...

Thanks. This has fixed a recurring problem for me.

I swapped the DIMMS into the other sockets. Now XMP is working but only at 3060 Mhz. Strange. More manual tinkering required later on I think.
