The argument of "small cars cant go fast on the motorway because they cant stop fast enough" is just stupid and pointless for two reasons: 1. big heavy BMW's etc need big fat brakes to stop all that mass. if they had the same discs as small cars, the discs wouldnt be powerful enough to stop...

Seems windows will crash no matter what environment its in, my gps crashed onces with a fatal error to a windows desktop with "my computer" and "my documents" showing :o

Because of the initial higher price of a diesel car? She plans to keep the car for a while so surely the fuel savings will add up?

She reckons about 8000 miles a year, shes not specifically after a BMW, It was just a suggestion from me, what about mondeos? Any others to look at? Oh and she wants good fuel economy, greater than 40mpg preferably.

Sorry, well she still has kids (me and my sisters) but were a lot older now and dont live at home, when we are at home it would be nice to go places in a larger car as me and my sisters all have small cars :p

Hey motors people :) My mum recently decided that she'd rather ditch her current car (renault scenic :o ) and get a new one (2nd hand). She had purchased the scenic on the basis that she needed to transport many family members about (being a mum), now she doesnt need such a big car anymore...

By more RAM then! No matter what spec you have, its still going to run awfully if you havnt got enough RAM for the game to be loaded on, swap files are what causes this, the RAM cant hold the whole game so some of it is stored on the hard drive, so when the game loads parts of the map it takes...
