Agnitum Firewall Pro for me with its anti-malware scanner.
Always worked better than the built in firewall and way less resources.
Also I love its anti-ad plugin and the fact its so flexible, as configurable as the users experience dictates.
No the monitor does work with PS3 et al, just need the HDMI 1.4 cable for it and any other devices like Sky box.
Old cables dont have the bandwidth needed - time to upgrade them.
Whoop whoop!
From Nvidia tech dude on their forum:
Our policy is to display it as 'Manufacturer Name' + 'Display Name'. Although the LCD monitor is made by Asus, the LCD panel is made by Ancor Communications. I tried to convince the software team to expand the length to display the complete...
Thats correct it should show that. Ancor Communications manufacture the monitor for Asus.
Mine shows as generic monitor in Device Manager but everything works fine, no issues at all so shouldnt matter if it shows as generic.
Try the beta nvidia drivers to get around the 3D issue and choose...
If its a driver bug you'll just need to wait til its fixed.
Are you using the beta 290.36 nvidia drivers?
If not they might help, seem to have a few bug fixes in it.
If you have, then its the waiting game til they release a fix.
Maybe Santa will bring it! :p
Have a search, I chose some different reviewrs/forum posters and went for the one I felt best with.
Dont be chasing the same colour definiition as your Dell!
Its a world apart from the TN Asus and you loose that by taking the TN.
But hey for BC2 in 3D nothing beats it! :D
Howdy bud
BluRay 3D is possible, its got a few connectors for hooking up consoles or players if you dont have a BD drive in your pc.
I was looking at the Sammy but thought I'd get an Nvidia enabled monitor instead since I would be doing some 3D gaming.
Like the others am well impressed...
If its any help - I love this monitor!
If your looking for any particulars regarding it then let me know.
I dont mind taking some screenshots or running whatever proggy and uploaading the results.
Does that include the VAT?
I've been caught out thinking I was getting a bargain then realising the VAT had to go on :o
I grabbed this monitor and am really pleased with it.
You do need to fine tune it to your own comfort levels but thats easy enough with the OSD menu.
Glad to see Asus...
