Anyone got any insight as to why there are like 10 b-grade red devils?

Weird one but here goes. When my monitor goes to sleep, the screen shows "no input" followed by the power light going orange and the screen going off. Seconds later the monitor wakes back up with a black (but turned on) screen. If I move the mouse I get my login screen. I'm using an R9 380...

I wasn't using the raid controller as such, just set to ahci mode via bios which removes visibility of the raid. Got a part number for the one you used? I'm considering this (eventually at least) as I'm going to have to stick more drives in eventually.

Gen8 question. How are you all getting around AHCI when booting an SSD from the ODD sata port? I have 1 ssd and 4 hdds so the ODD port has become unbootable. I've tried installing grub to a 2gb micro sd that I've left in the onboard port, but this consistantly fails to recognise the SSDs UUID...

Stupid me. I'd managed to install grub on the wrong MBR :eek:

"Could care less" implies you already care to a degree. "Couldn't care less" means you don't care at all.

Check the file name.

I'm reasonably sure the lag you had in that skin would be due to the cpu. Video playback is done by the gpu, so to have silky smooth video and then jump into the menus and feel choppiness would be expected as those nettops are CPU limited. Ram is cheap so if you were buying it would be silly not...
