Well, I did the BIOS CAP conversion, which is irreversible, to go with my new Windows 8 install so there's no going back. I did jump in feet first a little bit!! :D
I'm not sure if it updated the Intel ROM, I'll have a look when I get home.
I think I might just have to scrap the volume and...
I ran the BIOS converter and then flashed my MB to the latest version last night but now I am getting issues with the RAID 0 volume I had set up. The volume is still there but it only contains one of the disks. Obviously this knackers the volume. The other disk that was part of the volume is...
Don't worry, I have been crunching seti for years and I'm well use to their ups and downs. I have plenty of units buffered to keep me going for the time being!!
I'd recommend Chester Zoo too. Our 2 year old loves it that much we have season tickets.
They have dinosaurs there at the moment too, definitely worth a visit!
Great thread! I wasn't aware of MVC before reading it and now I can't believe I've missed it. I've been going through the PluralSight videos on http://www.asp.net/mvc suggested by MrMark and I'm finding them very useful.
I am about to start work on a site that I'd love to develop using MVC 3...
I've just started brewing my own beer this year, since a new homebrew shop opened at the end of our road!! I can't believe how good the kits are now. You certainly can't go wrong at 50p a pint, it's saved me loads of money already this year.
Bottles are far to fiddly for me. Mine just goes into...
I play hockey and do a lot of cycling so I have fairly strong leg muscles anyway. But I have noticed that they seem to make you work your calf muscles a lot more.
As there is not shock absorbing built in to the sole you have to do it manually by walking more on the balls of your feet. This is...
I have a pair of these. They are very comfy although they are a proper **** to get on until you get used to them!!
I generally wear them for wandering about in. I find that if you do use them a lot on tarmac or a hard surface I get pain in my Achilles but this is due to the different walking...
Use a mail merge in Word and set your database as the data source. You might have to set up an ODBC DSN to do this.
Just to let you know, your data is actually in a database (I'm presuming SQL Server). SQL is what you use to query that data and works with many different databases!!
I've just checked our copy of Crystal Reports XI and the cds look like normal factory produced cds. Very 'silvery' on the data side, rather than coloured like a recordable cd/dvd.
I'd love to say that it takes me back but I'm having to support some old VB6 apps
If you want it in book form I found "VB & VBA in a Nutshell: The Language" from O'Reilly to be a really useful reference book. You can pick them up second hand for a couple of quid!!
Edit: Forget what I said before, I've just downgraded 2008 TS User CALs to use on a 2003 TS. Just a telephone call Microsoft and 10 minutes of reading out keys and then getting them read back to you!!
You will need to use another formula, I normally put it in the group header, to manually reset the value of the global variable at the beginning of each group.
Shout if you want more detail.
