Just an update for some people worries about the camera, not that these are very good shots but there is not a lot wrong with this camera. I took a few shots this eve of a friends bike in the pitch black apart from a small side light. Look great on the phone, lots of detail.

Well something is happening when I pop it on the charger. When I put an iPhone on there it does nothing, with the z1 the charger light flashes but it just doesn't charge. We need a teardown for an absolute answer, might just be a kernel restriction.

Moto G is a great buy. But having held one, it doesn't have the same quality feel as the Z1 compact. Can't comment on battery either, but I have seen a video where it is placed under water for 30 mins and is completely fine!

Both have QI underneath. Nokia output .75AH, nexus 1.0AH. Both nothing, trying to find info online and nowhere on the official spec sheet does it mention Qi wireless charging, as far as I can see anyway.

It's a shame about the htc one. I think i was just unlucky but i went through 3 of them all with hardware issues. It has easily the best screen i have ever seen on a smartphone. Shame the next version is going to a 5 inch screen.

That's absolutely ridiculous. If hadn't ordered one I might have got a flight there and had a few days in Switzerland. The offset of the phone would have paid for my flight with easyjet! On the plus side I have had an invoice so hopefully it will despatched soon.
