Google Authenticator and a new number on the existing sim

If I change my mobile number on my existing phone it is on Virgin and I'm not sure if I can do this. But if I can will my Google Authenticator still work. I don't know if I would need a new sim to have a new number, trying to get in touch with Virgin at the moment is a nightmare. sculptor...

Monitor not displaying on PC start-up, sometimes!

I bought an Iiyama G-MASTER BLACK HAWK G2730HSU-B1 27" monitor in October. It is a nice little monitor with crisp clean display, I'm using it to work on 3D design for 3D printing. It is displaying from a Gigabyte RXT 2060 through the Display Port connection. My normal practice when starting a PC...

I'm looking to buy a high quality resin printer to start a business.

Thanks Toasty, Iv'e levelled the print head to the FEP instead of a piece of paper and Iv'e warmed up the resin (it's in a metal flask and was cold to touch) and its now printing fine. I'm now in the process of working out how to successfully print my models. Citubox auto support is failing my...

I'm looking to buy a high quality resin printer to start a business.

My last attempt is working, its about a third of the way through and each time the head raises you can hear a pop. Two and a half hours to go so it'll be a late one tonight. If you do have some hints and tips I would be grateful if you cold post them. I think what worked was cleaning the head...

I'm looking to buy a high quality resin printer to start a business.

Shout out to bulb66, I ended up buying a Mars Pro and have spent today popping my failed prints off the FEP layer on the resin tank. For whatever reason it won't stick to the build head, I have tried a little PTFE on the FEP, but when running I couldn't hear the popping sound as the build head...

I'm looking to buy a high quality resin printer to start a business.

Thanks bulb66, I have looked at the Elegoo MARS and the quality of the prints looks to be the standard I can work with. I didn't know they make larger printers, so yes I'll look at those. And thanks for the heads up on Uncle Jessy's channel.

    F@H multi GFX cards?

Sorry for the late reply Mike. It is my PC, there is a thread on the F@H forum explaining the issues with the F@H client. I think it was released in May but wouldn't recognize GPU when installed on Windows 10 under Administrator, but it would recognize the GPU if installed by a named user. As I...

I'm looking to buy a high quality resin printer to start a business.

I am looking at starting a business printing my own models the largest being a vehicle 170mm Length, 65mm Width, 76mm Height, so the print capacity needs to be at least this size. The models are 1/24 scale so I do need high fidelity in the print. Kind of hoping £3500 would be enough but...

Thanks for help guys, as the weather has warmed up Ill leave till the weekend to set it up. Did Stanford sort out the issue with the latest client not recognizing GPUs when the client was installed by the administrator on Windows 10? Calling Team 10

Thanks Rainmaker, thought I would check. I shouldn't need to shut down my main system but was thinking of running my second one during the week and switch it off for the weekends.

    Windows 7 (64bit) Service Pack 1 problem

Installing the latest network driver first, then SP1, worked. I should have thought to update the hardware first after all the years Ive been working with computers, however I guess some of us get caught out now and again. Tom :)

    Windows 7 (64bit) Service Pack 1 problem

Thanks guys, I did try installing the latest Realtek driver after installing SP1. Ill try it the other way round installing the lan driver first, then SP1, see if that sorts it out. Ive upgraded to Cinema4D R13 and just wanted Windows up-to-date before installing it. Oh the joys of Windows...

    Windows 7 (64bit) Service Pack 1 problem

My system is based on a MSI P67A-GD65 motherboard which works fine with Windows 7 (64bit) however if I install Service Pack 1 it stops the network from working. If I manually disable and then enable the network it then works. the problem is I have to do this each time I start the machine. I...

Best spec AGP card for a DFI Lan Party nFII Ultra B

Thanks TheRealDeal, just been checking the Gfx card charts on Toms Hardware and yes the HD3850 is faster, suprised to see how fast a "HD3650" is compared to 6800GT - 7900GT. My CPU is an XP2500+ @ 2.6+GHz, Mem @ 240MHz DDR (8-2-2-2), for a single core system should still have a fair bit of...

Best spec AGP card for a DFI Lan Party nFII Ultra B

Can any of the older members remember what is the highest spec AGP card that will work on a DFI nFII Ultra B board. The highest spec card I used was a nVidia 6800 GT, just wondering if there are compatiblity issues with later gfx cards and the nFII chipset. sculptor.:)
