I found the Linksys to be rock solid, and so far very reliable. I will try and answer all your points.
The mesh is setup and working. I think I am staying connected to downstairs unit when I go upstairs and the range is HUGE (devices only 'hop' if the signal difference reaches a certain...
I am looking to replace my Plusnet Hub One router with a BT Modem / Netgate pfSense firewall / mesh wifi
I have just returned a Nova Tenda MW12 3 pack mesh system as it refused to work in Bridge mode, and just caused my current router to disconnect itself from the internet.
Can anyone...
yes, agree with the foot heater comment, especially with winter approaching :D
Are the rest of my bits going to cope ok? Back when I built the PC every tiny upgrade brought about a new PC, so I expect I will very quickly have to upgrade the rest too ?
Help! - Its my daughters birthday tomorrow.
She loves Skyrim - or did until a couple of weeks ago and our aged Xbox 360 died.
I'm hoping to get Skyrim running on my old gaming PC for tomorrow night. I bought it on Steam with the hope it would cope and could play it. Its bordering on playable -...

Has anyone done this ?
My aim is to...
I have a quick question for anyone who uses https://market.android.com/details?id=com.easy.battery.saver
This really does seem work in saving my battery, and I have it set in Intelligent mode. So it shuts off Wifi and 3G until I wake my phone.
However - is there anyway to get it to wake...
I have installed the battery app - but I don't think that was the problem.
I ended up installing the apps manually - and when I left the wifi, and 3G became the network, it tried to automatically install them then. So even though I have "only install updates over wifi" ticked, it still tried...
Rather an annoying thing I have noticed.
When I install an app from Android Market (pc) - it says it will be installed shortly on my phone, and marks it as installed.
When I go to my phone, no new app has appeared - head into Android market - and the app is just sat in the "not installed"...
