Howdy have a 6950 flashed to 6970, i play the odd occasional game, Unreal 3 (dont laugh!) However i quite fancy giving Elite Dangerous a go, or the newest X game from Egosoft, i am also interested in better A/V functionality So, worth changing from a 6950? is there that big a performance...

Have a single 6950 which still cuts the mustard in general, am thinking about going to a 7970, is it worth the upgrade, or better of waiting for the 8000 series? anyone done the upgrade? impressions? ta! :)

thanks guys, not planning on overclocking just running it at stock, its a Gigabyte PS35-DSL3 board, not too fussed on uber speed, just as long as it will run stable at stock :) i can pickup 4Gb of PC8500 locally, for pennies, would that be better? thanks!

well, you'r alignment is pretty good, if you can do 100 seconds unguided, well done you. if you using a guide scope, you might well find you need an extension on the focuser to achieve focus. keep at it though ... ;)
