As above if you rip everything lossless then you then have the flexibility later on to re-encode to lower quality for MP3 players without needing to get the discs out again. I had to do my 600 CD collection, it's not fun, but in the end definitely worth it. I use EAC with AccurateRip and FLAC...

I have this combo and never had any problems. Had to setup a cron job under DD-WRT to auto reboot the router once a week as it was running out of resources after about a fortnight. Otherwise it's a great router.

In the past I've used a codec called reclock to do it, but it tends to make the audio sound strange. Had other problems with it too. Never sussed it out so in the end I gave up and just put up with the judder. You could give it a go, that PC I tried it on was cranky anyway.

I would agree with Grimley. Unless you're sitting less than one metre from it 1080P is wasted on a screen that small. Better to get a better quality 720P TV.
