geil ddr memory just my luck,or bad luck,ordered my geil 2x1gig 6400u on sunday,price drops more on monday,never did have good timing,thats life.

could any one with 1st hand experiance or some one in the know, the performance % gain would be had from upgrading my 1950xt 256mb to 3870 xt,would like to stick with ati for time being,thanks

temps still only 23 max in easy tune pro at 3.6 400x9.heatpipe system quite warm to touch though.dont know how accurate easy tune is on x38dq6,who else has temps to good to be true

temperature on my x38dq6 in bios range from 18-22,yet with core temp they show 52 all the time,does not even fluctuate,says its a wolfdale,but only with 1 core.i have latest bios f7.is there any other decent tools that show correct temps that are reliable,thanks

if its under 10% then maybe your right e.r. may as well spend extra on gts ,then gain hopefully 25% performance.

what do you think would be the % gain from my existing x1800xt overclocked 24/7 @ 650/1550 to the very keenly priced c3d x1950xt and tempting ,which could i suppose be safely overclocked to 650/1850,there-fore gain would only be on memory,is this so,cheers.

just recently changed drivers on my xfx 7900gt xxx extreme from 83.90 to 91.47,default speed was 560/1650,coolbits optimal was 585/1780 on average but never the same.new style control panel & coolbits in 91.47 gives optimal of 610/1848,did not realize drivers could make that much difference,good...

tried overclocking via bios,fsb will not even overclock to 205,lowered ht 4 & tried 3,tried various different dividers in ram,133,166,200,but can overclock via easy tune 5.gigabyte overclocking utility to 2.4 max only on easy mode,not on advanced mode,am very puzzled.ram is ocz 3700,please...
