I can recommend the Ikea desks. I would also recommend getting a glass top for it. I only paid £14 (from ikea) for mine, and it make the desktop virtually indestructible, and it looks quite nice..

I dont see the issue? I used to work in a cinema and we checked the colour of socks when doing uniform checks. If its part of the uniform then they should conform to that.
