Motherboard has two 4-pin PWM fan heads.
Case has 4 fans. 2x 120mm at bottom, and 1x 120mm and 1x 140mm fan at top.
Is it fine to have the top 120mm and 140mm fan shared on a header? Or better to have all 3x 120mm on same header and 140mm on its own header.
My delisted games have remained in my inventory and I can re-download them any time (these aren't Ubisoft games). The only part that doesn't work is the link to visit the specific game store page, so it takes you Steam main store page instead.
I was looking at this case after recently watching a build video, but I'm not too keen on propriety PCI Express risers. As there is no certainty that IQUNIX will release a new version for Gen4 and beyond.
Seems a lack of H670 ITX motherboards too. Think only Asrock have a H670 chipset offering, while the rest have B660 chipsets that seems to be selling in retail for a higher price.
For parents I would buy a manufacturer refurbished base unit from the big electrical retailor ebay stores. Plenty of AMD or low tier Intel offerings from Acer, HP, or Lenovo.
Is it worth updating BIOS before reinstall? So Windows has same version on current activation and after new installation when activating.
Provided a link, but make sure it's actually for your version...
Measuring from the outside edge of PCI bracket to the outside edge of fan shroud I was getting 169 to 170mm, so to allow my my errors I would go with manufacturers specification of 170mm long for complete graphics card.
Edit: By default the Palit logo is illuminated white. I thought it might...
Slowly updating my old system. And for anyone looking at newer ITX sized graphic cards.
Palit's Geforce RTX 3050 StormX installed in a Silverstone SG-05 case. The cooler shroud is longer than the PCB by either 22 or 23mm...
Thanks to Gibbo and the team, I've managed to get one of the limited stock Palit GeForce RTX 3050 StormX LHR 8GB at £239.99. Shows it has benefits being part of the forum.
I imagine there will be some bad reviews of OcUK, from the scalpers having their orders cancelled. But they won't provide the reason why OcUK cancelled their order.
So much for hoping this release would cause the GTX 16x0 range to drop in price. Unless there is going to be a large container ship of stock arriving soon.
Here's some. Might be other makes, and some makes seem use a short circuit board but fit a longer dual fan cooler on it.

In case it helps in searching for a 3050 come tomorrow, I've tried to find part numbers from the various manufactures. But Asus and EVGA have blocks on their product pages. Colorful, MSI, and Palit just list model name. And I don't recognise the brand with a...
Videocardz.com posted about leaked hashrate.

Our source in China provided some Ethereum mining performance of the upcoming RTX 3050 graphics card. It appears that the card ships with the Lite Hash Rate...
This reaffirms my reasons for picking companies that have a UK based RMA option. But the list of manufacturers offering this service might be a lot shorter now, as I've not looked at upgrades for years.
