I have just received my asus lap top back from asus after it had been repaired and they installed a new 120gb h/d,i wiped it as they had put a load of asus rubbish back onto it and i am left with just over 111gb is this right or should i have more left over.The 111gb is what vista is telling me...

Going to be buying a new mobo hopefully a ds3 or ds4 but i am reading lots of errors lately regarding these boards,would i be better in buying a pb5 delux,i have not got a clue on overclocking these boards so if something went wrong i would just send it back t0 OCUK would that be ok.the cpu...

No it does not struggle with anything,just wanted a more up to date machine.just going with the flow really.

Is it worth me ditching my AMD 4400+ Dual Core and going for one of these little beauties Intel Core 2 DUO E6300, Intel Core 2 DUO E6400, or Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 or do you think i am wasting my cash,by the way i do not want to overclock the little beauties.Which one wouild be the wiser purchase.

Yeah all running great in that dept,most of the bios settings are set to auto.Does this sound correct.

i just do light work,i upgraded from a 3500+ and there is no difference wotsoever and someone told me to check the settings in my bios,i know that none of the settings in the bios have been touched as i just plonked the 4400+ in and away it ran.

Got a s939 gigabyte k8nxp-9 mobo with a amd 4400+ dual core and 1 gig of ram,could someone please advise me on bios settings as it is not as fast as i would have thought,by the way it is'nt overclocked.

Just wondering what psu i should buy,i am running a amd 4400dual core,gigabyte, ka8xp9 mobo,benq 1640 writer,pioneer 111 writer and seagate 7200.10 250gig,maxtor 200 gb and a ati x800 graphics card and the psu i am using is a hiper 425 watter,should i be using something with a little more umph.

Which is the quietest 120mm case fan,as the stock one in my Thermaltake Mambo is quite loud.

dont think the wife to be would be very happy it won't toast,wash dish's,cook food and you cannot eat your dinner with it either.She would rather have tea towels than a graphics card.

I have had this x800 for about a year now and you can tell it is not what it used to be as the new games get slower,or maybe it is me getting older.
