Is there a website for comparing solar micro generators? I’ms sure I saw it on these forums a few years ago. Basically domestic and small micro generators uploaded their location and power generation. I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Anyone here know what I mean?
Hi all, I need to print a large (3 x 2m) high resolution satellite image map and I’m struggling to find how to do it successfully.
It’s for an information board at a school and we want the children to be be able to view in high detail their school and some of the the surrounding area.
We can...
I've got over if these Macs. Taker it into your nearest Apple store and ask them to reinstall it to Sierra or something like that for you.
I've just done that that with two machines before selling them on.
I've got a base model Refurbished M1 MBP arriving this weekend to see if I can switch from a large PC to small and mobile machine and still work effectively.
Can't wait to see if and how much faster it may be.
OK, so the Sony Xperia 5ii and One Plus 8 Pro are both within a whisker of each other price wise. I can't decide. Coming from the iPhone 7 Plus, is the 5-6mm narrower Xperia going to feel way to narrow? Is the Aspect ratio hard to get used to?
My Surface Pro 4 has stopped turning on. It worked fine a few days ago and now just won't do anything. The charger works and lights up when connected to the tablet, but it still doesn't power on.
If I hold down the power button and one of the volume buttons simultaneously I occasionally get a...
So, I've had this iPhone 7 Plus for a while now and I'm looking for an upgrade. Quite fancya jump to Android, this was my first Apple device, I've had loads of Android phones in the past.
So, the camera and video are important to me and I'm leaning towards one of the upper mid table Android...
Interesting... XMP (and Game Boost) is disabled in the BIOS and when enabled it won't POST. It hangs and sends me back to the BIOS to make changes.
When disabled it boots fine. Do I need to make other changes when XMP is enabled.... Sorry it's been a while since my OC'ing days...
I've got the CPU above in a relatively new build with good components. It used to run at the full 4.7Ghz when under load but I noticed today that it wasn't. The PC runs absolutely fine and hasn't ever crashed.
Best place to start troubleshooting?
Cheers
In going to China and Japan in a few weeks and I'm contemplating switching systems from to Sony and buying the gear there.
Any tips on whether it's significantly cheaper buying out there? China or Japan? Abs what about warranties?
Cheers
I'm on a 52Mb BT fibre connection and I used to get the max 72/20 down/up speeds before I renewed the package. They sent out a new Superhub when I said the speeds had dropped and they'd confirmed (they did a few line tests) my uploaded was capable of 20Mb. But even with the new hub it is still...
I have two boxed retail Windows 7 Home discs that I had used a while ago. One of was retired and the other I used to upgrade my current (but dead) PC to Windows 10.
I'm replacing the dead PC and wondered whether I can download Windows 10 and use the other Win 7 Key to activate it?
Also, can I...
I've got an old 2700k system which won't start up today. It worked fine over the weekend.
Lights on the board are on, PSU (EVGA 750W) clicks on for a second, fans spin up, then it goes off.
I'll try another PSU in the morning but wonder what the tell tale signs of a PSU on the way out?
Also...
I'm thinking of a new build based on Z370 platform or Z390 depending on when I get round to it.
Anyway, storage wise I'm thinking of using a fast NVME M.2 drive for OS and applications and possibly my Lightroom catalogues. The main images would be on a fast conventional HGST drive and working...
Yeah, its a really old block but worked great and seems a shame not to try and continue using it. If I can mod the mounting holes then that could work!
