** XTEND YOUR OPTIONS WITH THE LAZER3D LZ7 XTD **

no, sadly not which is surprising considering the amount of ITX cases I own, the gfx card limitation put me off, but with the XTD version I can squeeze my 4070 in there

    Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

thanks mate, but I am confused. I thought OLED used PWM to turn on/off the pixels at about 250hz. My experience is with phones and laptops so is that slightly different to TV/monitors? Here is a website talking about PWM on AMOLED on a phone as an example...

    Redefine "quiet gaming laptop"

haha so true! and after using an apple silicon laptop for a while the noise from gaming laptops sounds even worse to me now :)

    Alienware M17 R5

in all fairness that 3070ti isn't far behind a 4070 and the m17r5 I reviewed was a pretty solid unit

    Gaming laptop

haha so true, very little depth in his videos these days. I also vote for Legion, for the price they can't be beat. I review a ton of laptops and I am always impressed with how well legions perform for their price plus the 240hz 1600p screen they offer is great

SSD upgrade for Surface Laptop 4?

There was a few people having success on reddit. They had to change some of the power settings before cloning it if I remember correctly, I will try and find the info again.

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

haha, I wish I could justify buying myself a 4090 but that price tag! I may just be able to stretch to a 4080 super if they sell for under 1k

    14th gen i7 14700k

thanks mate, if it was just gaming I wouldn't bother at all, but resolve is struggling with my workload so I think you might be right

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

Good point, was just thinking the date they are available to buy! Looking forward to getting a tiny inno3d 4070ti super to cram in my tiny ITX case

    Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

I haven't read all the posts on the thread, but do we know if these use PWM? I get the worst migraines from PWM OLED screens :(

    14th gen i7 14700k

I am contemplating upgrading my 12600k to either a 13700k or 14700k, the 14700k is slightly better from my understanding but is it worth saving £50 or so by getting the 13700k? it will be for a mix of gaming and video editing

    Lenovo Legion Go

wow I have got to get my hands on one of those! Have been enjoying my legion EGPU with mine, performance is much better than I expected with a 4070. I had bought the EGPU to use with a surface pro 9 but it was so buggy I ended up shelving it

Alienwear m15 Ryzen Edition R5 or legion Pro

I have reviewed both (mash IT if you wish to see the reviews) I would get the legion 5 pro every time. The hardest part is actually getting the legion 5 pro though

    Surface Laptop 3

I bought the base alcantara 128gb and just swapped in a 512gb ssd. Really easy process, had it installed in about 10 minutes and feet came off easily with no damage so I popped them back on with the original adhesive. I couldn’t justify the ms price for upgraded ssd! The 2230 512gb ssd cost me £65
