Gibbo anychance you could check the steppings for me on the 3700+ ADA3700BNBOX chips to see if is good overclocker ? Or does anyone know already ? My current one only goes upto 2.54 @ 1.45v & does not like going any higher even if i push it to 1.75v

So these things won't overclock any better than the San Deigo's then. Was kinda hopeing they where new cores that would overclock even better.

Mine is ADA3700DKA5CF & it's a pile of pants wont go over 2.54ghz. Got it at 2.54ghz using 1.45 volts & cant increase cpu speed any higher not even if using 1.65v

O.k i have the Ati Saphire x1800XL 256mb & i want to convert my old video tape films into divx. What the best way to do this ? Best application & cable to use. Would using composite from vcr to s-video gfx card be o.k or better using s-video to s-video ?

I forgot to make a note of the steppings, i can get 2.67ghz using 1.65v. My bios only goes up by .25 till you get to 1.55v then it jumps to 1.65v :-( I am gonna assume 1.65v is a no no though ? How high should you let the cpu temp get before you should not oc anymore ?

Are all of you getting ya 3700+ from OCuk, just bought one but from somewhere else & the damn thing wont even do 2.67ghz even at 1.55 volts. The best i have got so far is 2.54 at 1.45v using 10.5x multi, as i am trying to keep my ram at 400mhz with the low default latency timeings.

So has anyone done a comparison yet ?

urm no, with everything at stock/ auto my DDR Speed in the bios is 400 & if doing a system info with 3D Mark i can see it says Memory Frequency 200.0MHz (obviously x2) = 400 But when doing the OC, DDR Speed in the bios shows as 240 & the system info in 3D Mark shows Memory Frequency 120.0MHz...
