Thanks, I'll give it a go, with what I am doing I seem to only get 19-28 Fps with quite low detail and lots of very jagged edges....I am doing something wrong as I know my setup is old but I'm sure its capable of doing better than I have it...

    *** Oculus Quest 2 Owners Thread ***

Hi, thanks for the replies, I am using a link cable and I know my PC is woefully out of date and dont expect it to run it well, just want it to run the best it can with what I have - I'll live with it until I can get some more funds but to upgrade it will be a big expense. What I am ideally...

    *** Oculus Quest 2 Owners Thread ***

Hi all Just picked up a Quest 2 and am totally new to all this VR. Seems a nice piece of kit and although I am using it with an old PC and a link cable (through USB 3.0) it works ok. Cant upgrade PC as funds are limited, which is why I waited so long until the Quest 2 prices came down (got a...

    Mitsubishi Outlander GX4 2014 - opinions?

Mate, read a bit more, its nothing to do with fluids and change schedule, its the balance shaft main connector that wears out and requires replacement - the clattery engine at low revs, that then dissapears is a prime symptom - there was a utube video on it which shows it. If not replaced it...

    Mitsubishi Outlander GX4 2014 - opinions?

Watch what you buy here, I fell in love with the outlander diesel and brought one after 2 years of searching for a decent one. The diesel engine has a real problem with the balance shaft, wears out, known design error that was rectified in the 2018 model onwards, but Mitsubishi refused to accept...

    2016 Tuscon Reversing Camera Problem

damn it, there was me thinking it would be an easy fix (although it took 3 hours, lots of swearing, and a lot of broken bits to get the interior, then exterior panels off to get at it!) Do you know if its the camera or the head unit that does trajectory lines, I would think it was the head unit...

    2016 Tuscon Reversing Camera Problem

Hi All I have just fitted a replacement reversing camera to my 2016 Hyundai Tucson and it works fine, except the steering trajectory lines now go the wrong way when I turn the steering wheel? Does anyone know how it works or if there is a way to change this in the settings? The replacement...

    Best £200 card

I would go for a 1080Ti, got one in my machine and one in my boys, best upgrade for circa £150 I could get and was not dissapointed - doing the comparisons the £200 cards just did not give the extra £50 worth of performance.

    Insomnia Sufferers in here!

I have been coping with insomnia for years, near on 25 years....cant sleep at night but can easily (and do) nap during the day. I have also had the aching problem, primarily when tired. After years it turned out that I have a neck issue, which I had said to the docs many times but they...

Proactive baiting or traps in loft and garage

I have a real issue with Glis Glis and mice, real pain in the ass and destructive. The expert that came round says that traps are best to kill and remove - if they are already there, same with mice, they are quite territorial and you dont need to remove any bait as soon as you have taken the...
