he won't be overclocking. 1280 x 1024 and he will be gaming and wants all games to run in full detail. The system needs to have outstanding graphics. it doesnt matter on the socket type...he just wants the fastest gaming machine he can get for that money. thanks

i had a strange burning smell when a moth flew into the fan on my graphics card (in a caseless pc) and the fan had almost stopped going around. The moth didnt look too happy with all its bits everywhere when I had scraped the fan out lol

mine wont get stable above 2.6 ghz, its a toledo dual core chip with one core disabled according to a program. It just won't overclock well and i've tried everything to try and rectify this.

Do overclockers sell the add-on card for the Asrock?

Same here, ive got one and its been superb from the offset. No problems at all, am wondering why some of them have faults though...a lot of people seem to have hiper type r psu's and are happy with them.

My p4 1.6 only had pc133 RAM and an Acer mobo and it's 133FSB. /btw borged a quad xeon 2.8ghz last night and a single p4 2.2 @ 3.2. :D

have got one of these on my 3700 @ 2.55gig, says 2 days 21hr to completion and its only at 6% done. i've also got a 2124 unit worth 396 points on my pentium4 1600 that i recently bought which says its going to be ready in 6 days time @ 2% complete. regards, meaz/br
