If its under 6 months old can it not be raised as a warranty repair / RMA?
Quick Google and it looks like a Tongfang chassis rebranded (Like XMG / Schenker etc) -...
Wifey is now just waiting on the delivery of her collectors edition. Ordered direct as soon as it was announced:
The whole album is.... *chefs kiss* (Especially Le Noir which is a violin playthrough of a section of the Black, beautiful yet haunting at the same time).
Also, new Calva Louise...
Assuming specifically for running as a backup in a Win 10/11 PC then I have a OG GTX Titan that acts as both a backup and board testing card (seemingly works with most things).
I also have a plethora of other cards but they are a little old to act as a backups (although the 690 and 7990 could...
Destiny 2 on Series X.
Picked this up again after quite the hiatus following the relatively "meh" Lightfall campaign and seasonal content. Took me a while to get my head around all the things (Bungie really need to learn less is more) but I am actually enjoying what I am playing.
Does help...
Complete re-install of StarField got it working but performance in the same scene was all over the place, even switching between settings used previously.
I knew 3440x1440 was going to be too much but switching to XeSS Ultra quality gave higher performance than quality or balanced... right up...
Diablo 4 - Enjoying it more now I have dropped from WT2 to WT1. Was doing ok until the first real dungeon / boss fight where it felt the line between a challenge and annoying had been crossed. Currently level 21 with a a reasonable Sorcerer build. I do miss my ridiculous end game Monk build from...
Well if the driver fixes anything in Starfield I won't know as the game launches and then just drops back to the desktop like nothing happened.
Did the same on the previous driver as well.
Not really sure what is going on as there is no error and no obvious feedback as to what is happening.
Finally got my ARC A750 LE back on a test bench (12400F / B660M / DDR4 3200C14 - nothing too fancy but more than fast enough for a A750) so can run over games I have tested before to see the real world benefits (or not) of the latest drivers.
(I sold the A770 hence why I am not using that)...
Mixed our setups up a bit with a switch to Macs and in my case setting up a new ARC test bench for the A750 I have had since launch. :)

In a hilarious turn of events my server / homelab now houses my RTX 4070 FE so if ARC isn't cutting it I can Parsec in to a Win 11 VM and...
Tried using Crossover (24 IIRC) to test out Hogwarts via Steam on my M3 Pro but despite multiple attempts I could not get past the initial warning screens.
From what I can tell this is the same scenario that plagued the game in general early in its release cycle but I have not come across it...
Intel ARC iGPU is broadly a bit lower in overall performance to the 780M RDNA3 iGPU found in the higher end AMD APU's (7840HS for example). This is a very rough ballpark as with ARC it can vary quite heavily in some games.
Having used a 780M analogue in the ROG Ally (Z1 Extreme so 7840U...
The trackpad for me (and my wife) was basically second nature. I can't really explain it but I suppose it works just like scrolling on a touch screen (i.e swiping up moves the screen down just with two fingers instead of one). We did have a MacBook Air for a number of years so obviously helped...
Just had another quick session of Destiny 2 this time completely on WiFi using a Xbox Controller. Maxed out everything in game and it was a buttery smooth 120FPS all the way through (going by what I was actually experiencing and the on screen stats you can pull up). Couldn't spot any tearing to...
Certainly agree but for her requirements (writing A LOT) the 8GB/256GB base model is absolutely fine. :)
She went for Space Grey and I will say it looks ruddy lovely. Pretty much all M2 Airs I have seen in person have been midnight so it's nice to see it in a different colour.
One major benefit from the M3 Air being launched. Nice price drop on the M2 Air to £900 so my wife, who has been eying up an Air for a while now, is very happy with the saving. :)
Watched Orbit Culture (with Defects opening) at the Exchange in Bristol last night. :)
Not much standing room but it was awesome!! The entire building seemed to vibrating from the bass. :D:D
