Cancelled sky TV over a month ago and I'm now Freesat. Got my coffin today to send the boxes back.
Cancelled my broadband with sky yesterday, was costing me 36 a month best they could do was 28 with a £10 admin fee...I got the broadband for 23 with plusnet, god knows why SKY wanted the admin...
I'm going through the same process, put my 31 days notice in 3 weeks ago, not had 1 single call from them trying to persuade me to keep with them.
maybe this is a new tactic from them.. wanting us to flinch before they do? Either way mine is gone a week tomorrow!
I received my Q90T and its fantastic, very bright, colourful and the black levels are great and the picture quality is the best Ive seen so far on a TV. No issues at all so far, now I just need my Series X :)
Im having a Q90T delivered this coming Saturday. Read lots of reviews, youtube etc.. and pulled the trigger. I was tempted by the OLED option, but the screen burn-in issues worried me. I have been to a few forums in the last few days and the Q90T has a few issues...Inverted ghosting/judder on...
I have approx 6 weeks left on my contract. They have contacted me on numerous occasions and matched what I'm currently paying. I'm going to hold out a little more.
well, I have put my 31 days notice in today, Im still in contract up until 20th March so my sky will cancel on this date. The bill from April was moving from £90 to £140, they have tried to re-negotiate with me back down to 90 I refused so lets see what they can offer me in the next coming months.
I know exactly what you mean, it lacked atmosphere and with maybe a little more noise form the city/area you are in that would change. I had a few issues with sound the occasional kick back to the desktop but it is beta I suppose. Like you I ran this on my Xbox X and the graphics were awsome...
