I doubt it's the board more like the ram...have you tried slacker memory timings. The memory i use are G-skill Trident [email protected] and they overclock.:p

I won't take credit for that as not mine taken from XS...but it is a very good clock...well a little over 4ghz is very possible as long as you got a good cooler....i have a cheapy cooler...good but would not recommend for anything over 4ghz.

Your system is AMD so your tips do not apply to an intel system as 1.65v on the memory is MAX any higher will fry cpu.

Guess i should add this is on board in sig as Gigabyte got returned due to duff mem slot! The mem needed a lot of pressure to seat it which could have contributed to the slot going bad and would not boot with 2 sticks first off....where the asrock memory slotted in very easy and booted both...
