Hi there Eliminos, just run a quick test of my 500VA Belkin ups using a desk lamp fitted with a 100W bulb, nothing else connected to the ups. When switching off the power to the ups the bulb flicks off for a very short fraction of a second, it does not at any time run at a reduced brightness.

Hi there Nikolic, i have a BFG 7800GT OC with one of those Akasa extracter fans fitted into the next but one slot below it. My graphics card doesn't seem to get very hot, around 60C - 65C maximum, but having the extracter doesn't seem to do any harm. Hope this helps.
