cyKey wins the day again IMHO.
I find photo prints a lot more forgiving due to ink-merge, I expect it'll look fine at A4 at least. Plus its not got to be studio quality to be a lovely family photo on the wall.

Hi Blackvault, I tried to photograph my guitars and amps a while ago, with limited success.
I got almost nowhere with the guitars. I couldn't get a good light on the shiny bodies without taking them outdoors (not ideal at this time of year etc...).

I've really started to notice that there are sharper bands through the zoom range on the sigma 70-300.
Fully out at 300 it can be really soft, but i've had a couple of much sharper (for this lens) shots in the 200-300 range. It varies a bit with the exposure too :rolleyes:

Hmmm, well there is a question about that at the moment. I didn't notice at the time, but on refection the poultry hanging in the window appear to have tails! :confused:
The first is looking down on 'Central' Hong Kong from Victoria peak.
The 2nd is the Tian Tan Buddha, at the Po Lin Buddhist monastery, Lantau.
You have to wade through tourists and wait your turn to get shots at most of the tourist sights.
Most useful thing I ever read was my camera manual. Someone here told me to do that. Was a good idea. Much better photos. No help with learning photoshop obviously.
I've just come back from Hong Kong where i've done some shopping for Camera gear.
Generally I found things to be cheaper, but not that much cheaper.
I think the internet has taken a bit of the sting out of tax free shopping to be honest.
