Amazing! Thanks so much. Didn't realise how expensive windows is, I remember back in the day you could get OEM ones tied to the motherboard, is that still a thing?
He's not been very specific really, he does play Fortnite but I'd like it to be a fairly balanced build, don't think he even knows what ray tracing is so not bothered about that particularly.
Hi,
Been out of the loop with PC stuff for a while but have agreed to put a PC together for a friend's son. He'll use it for gaming plus some school work. He has a 144hz panel (1080) but will look to move into 1440/27" at some point in the future.
Budget is £1000 Inc windows.
Thanks in advance.
Such a shame looking at the prices of these latest graphics cards. I remember buying two 470s for SLI and a couple of EK Waterblocks for less than one of these. Oh well, the series x/turret is more than fine for COD and the mortgage is getting overpaid instead.
I didn't realise you could wash the Panasonic? Shows how much attention I pay, I've always just used the brush that came with it and the odd oil now and again.
Love my Razor Turret, such an excellent piece of kit. I went from using a usb extender cable, huge piece of cardboard and cushions to the Turret and think it's the best thing out there. Just picked up Cyberpunk in the BF sale as that now supports kb&m too.
I like the look of the lapdog but you...
It seems to revert to the default key binds every time I restart the game. I have to keep swapping C and CTRL over, also the mount and Melee buttons on the mouse, very odd.
Same here, Had it on the PC, got sick of the Griffin bit and ditched it. Then during lockdown I picked it up on the Xbox and got completely hooked. Took months to finish but is a masterpiece, well worth sticking with it.
My Dyson V11 has a broken trigger, a common fault with them. I've bought a replacement trigger but have yet to pull it apart to fix it. Whilst it worked it was excellent and I'm finding using the old DC34 a real chore to use.
Glass would work really well, in white, running full width. Those that are recommending stainless steel as a splash back, have you got one? The reason I ask is that my hob and oven are so hard to clean properly, i've tried all sorts of products but they always seem to end up "smeary".
I suppose I'm a strange case as I'm using a series x / 120hz OLED with a keyboard and mouse rather than a controller, I agree that the aim assist is infuriating, it'd be great to match make via input method rather than platform. I've noticed quite an increase in PC/Controller combo lately.
