I just got a Beam and I'm pretty impressed with the sound the little thing puts out. Just wondered if the rears/surrounds add any fullness to the sound when watching movies? I know a Sub will help a ton with that but money is tight at the moment so I think I want to prioritize a pair of One's first!

The 2.6GHz Mac Mini has 87% of the speed of my Macbook Pro, that's not too bad actually. Nothing I do uses a lot of CPU so I might be able to get away with that. I'm guessing when it's 'underload' the Mac Mini might be a bit quieter. I think my MBP has an Iris GPU whatever that is :)

Avalanche have been working on Rage 2 with ID so I'm guessing all the best employees worked on that rather than this. That's what it seems like anyway.

Not necessarily. I'll sell my current one for maybe £240-£250 and grab a new Pro when I see a deal. So I'll have a new one with a warranty for £50-£70.

It makes some difference but still loud. I ended up playing at 1080p because I could stand the noise :)

Is it turned on ;) Mine was obnoxiously loud when playing RDR2 at 4k.

Anybody got one of those Red Dead bundle Pro's? The reason I ask is because my current one is so loud it gets on my nerves. Do the new revisions also sound like jet engines?

That's great. As long as it's an upgrade and not a sidegrade :) I think you can upgrade the GPU to a 1070 but you need to upgrade the power brick too. Not sure about the CPU. Tbh I'd prefer to just sell it and get a new system!

So I bought the cheapest horse ($15) from the stable in Valentine. I then bought the next one up which was supposed to be quite a bit faster and was I think $135. He doesn't seem any quicker, could it be because I got my first horse to level 4?
