Yeah a fair point dude. Comes down to money i guess and whether there is a need for more ram, if the system is currently coping with whats being thrown at it then id leave it be, or overclock ;)

I'd hold on mate, my 3500+ is currently at 2.8ghz and it is lightening quick. Agreed another gig of ram is never a bad idea ;)

U do realise that u dont have a PCI-E motherboard, ull need a new one if going down this route. I feel AGP has finally come to its grave and so this may be wise. Also price to performance wise, u'll be better buying a new graphics card and motherboard than just buying an AGP. Happy Shopping ;)

Hey, Dont know a lot bout laptops, am going to uni next year, basically need a laptopp with 60gb HD, 512mb Ram, and DVD rw. Gona be used for work, music and DVD's. Im thinking maybe the Toshiba M50: Celeron M 1.5ghz, 60gb, 512 or Toshiba L20: Celeron M 14.ghz, 60gb, 512. However...

Mate ive got my 3500+ running at 2.7ghz atm, upped volts by 0.2 and have had it at 2.8. Using stock cooler and temps never go above 45, around 43 at load. Guess ive bin a lil lucky with my chip ???
