I reckon a lot of hardware these days tends to be on the flakey side, Ive always gone with Netgear though for Routers, always liked there website support and warrentys and generally easy to use. Linksys are also supposed to be good. Keep away from Belkin and the BT routers though :)

Firstly I would change the name of your SID you can also make it so it dose not broadcast this out visibly over the local area. You then should be able to turn on MAC filtering (not sure if every Router has this feature though).. Lastly I would use WPA2 as your encryption with a long ish key...

It could also be memory problem try ether checking it with mem test software or perhaps using 1 stick at a time.Also check for Hardrive errors to rule that out. If Ram, PSU, Graphics all check out ok then it could be theres a fault on your mobo.

I would try and rule out the PSU and memory first as both of those can cause odd things to happen. ie try using only 1 stick of ram at a time if you have 2, if you can get hold of another PSU that you know works try that as well. If not then I would suspect the mobo.

what are the CPU temps, overheating could be the problem. As you might have knocked loose the Heatsink when installing the PCI card. Also check Ram & PSU...

Ive not got a PS3 but Im pritty sure if you got hold of a wireless router you could then connect your PC and PS3 like that.

just depends on what you want, most people would probally recommend a Antec Fusion (silver&black) and then theres its older brother the Antec NSK 2480 Failing those 2 and you dont mind breaking the bank Silverstone make some very nice HTPC cases....

At stock along with a decent midrange GPU you probally wont notice much difference with the CPU. Im hoping to upgrade my HTPC next year when the EF Phenoms come out next year ( early next year )
