For the price they're actually really impressive. I'm using the 'Professional' mounts for them, which provide better weather resistance and allows you to mount them upside down.

Mounted my first G3 Flex today. Previous owner had cat5e already installed, unfortunately I had to recrimp the cable though.

Yeah I gave up using a wheel on Horizon, just doesn't handle properly and you're at a disadvantage to anyone using a gamepad. FM7 is better, but still required tweaking the settings.

Most recent speed test have me 1067Mbps which is good :) Trying to get this hub into modem mode, does anyone know which port needs to be used?

Just after I posted I got a text saying they've activated the line. Seems to be staying connected now :)

Yeah I called that and it said my device was already activated. Sigh

Does anyone know how long line activation can take? I've just setup my new hub and it works briefly but then disconnects. The status says 'registration failure'.

Yeah I've had a read through their forums and twitter, there's dozens of complaints for my area (HA4). I guess there's no way to tell whether that's a vocal minority..

Still undecided on whether I should get Virgin Media in my new house. Looks like I can get Gig1 but I'm worried about performance further down the line. Reading this thread and various other forums doesn't fill me with confidence, but my other option is 80Mbps fttc.

I've got a van hire booked with Hertz for Friday. As far as I know it's still good.
