You'll not be alone in this. The Switch WiFi can be great for one person and terrible for another. It's probably a combination of router/cheap ass WiFi chipset/compatibility and eShop infrastructure.

I have a good PC, Series X and Switch. 90% of my purchases are on Switch as it just fits in with my lifestyle, unless it's a graphically intensive title then it's Xbox. PC hardly gets a look in anymore as couch gaming and portability rule.
After updating to 2H22 I experienced this with every game I played, random stuttering that tanked performance, along with audio issues. I spent a few weeks trying to resolve, finally got so frustrated I gave up and reinstalled Win10.
Currently hooked on Monster Hunter Stories 2 on Switch. About 75hrs in and still really enjoying the monster hunting aspect and about halfway through the main story. Definitely a recommendation if you're into Jrpg's and collecting.
I went for the 62g, they feel light enough, with little bump, very smooth for a tactile, definitely not a heavy switch for it's rated actuation and I don't like heavy switches.
I've just put some Boba U4Ts (Tactile) in my board and I really like them, very little stem wobble and a nice thocc sound. They have replaced some dying Glorious Pandas purchased from here a few months back that had started to chatter and it seems that I'm not the only one who had experienced...
