board is a bit expensive, over £10 more than on competitors. i wanna find out what the max fsb people can get with these, my team ram will overclock bloody loads, my cpu will do 3.7ghz on air and hopefully 3.8 on water. hope some new bios' are out soon and people get 510+ fsb on these.

fatrakoon is pretty much right, except for when it comes to vista. vista uses about 400mb ram on idle and if you put in 2gb of ram instead of 1gb it will use about 600mb of ram as its knows its got more to play with. i've got vista 64 ultimate on my turion 64 x2 laptop and desktop with 2gb ram...

490 passes memtest, rebooting the computer wont let me keep 490 without switching it off after many attempts at rebooting automatically and power going off for 2 secs. did same with 485. the bios isnt the best for restarting and rebooting the computer imo. hopefully a f8 will be out soon...

your ram will probably be holding you back as you might only be able to get 350. if so you will need to use a multiplier such as 5:4 if your ram can do 2.2v then use it, ignore that its purple.

riiya, use memtest86 to test the ram, try 420, 425 etc etc until you find its breaking point. the geil 6400 isnt very good for a lot of ppl like myself, i got a refund and got this team ram. gskill is also very good:)

think im actually gunna get a swiftech storm as the cpu block listed on here is only listed on 1 site, thats the only thing im buying on that site, its £4.70 for p&p, i can get swiftech storm from the site where i get the xpsc tubing from and save on the p&p, so is actually only gunna cost me £7...
