Interesting thought.
I will already have dualscreening of sorts as this will be connecting up to my 13.3inch macbook. Just turn the resolution on that right down and a I am good for testing.
Might also add that I am a programmer/sysadmin rather than a graphic designer.
Just looking into this a bit more and actually the screen resolution on the 24inch and 26inch monitor (well this samsung is 25.5) is identical at 1920x1200 so I am actually not buying any more 'deskspace real estate' I am just getting things a bit bigger (and using more realdeskspace!). Am I...
So I have decided to upgrade from my 19inch Samsung. Looking to go to either the Samsung SM2443BW 24inch or the Samsung SM2693HM 26".
I have not used a screen of these sizes before and am curious to know your thoughts on whether a 26inch screen is in fact a little too big for web...
Why go to the expense of getting a MBP and then remove OSX? OSX is the best part about macs. It is streets ahead of windows. If you remove it and use windows then you are just paying for expensive hardware.
Personally I wouldn't of bought a MBP if I could put osx on a dell/sony laptop.
Well let me put it this way. What I like about the apple screen is that it is very crisp and sharp, which means I am perfectly happy reading large documents on it for long periods of time. By comparison my old 19" TFT at home seems to look blurred.
The designers in my office say that the Apple...
The other one I was looking at was the BenQ V2400W. Again I don't know if I would notice a quality improvement, but I think this is a very stylish monitor.
So in my case would I just be paying for style with the higher price tag?
Hey, so after getting used to the 23inch apple displays at work I have come to the conclusion that my old Samsung SyncMaster 913N is no longer cutting the mustard (once you get used to something better you can never go backwards!). I have got used to the extra space of the 23" at work and find...
I use to think I wanted a seriously expensive car. Now though my ideal setup would be to keep my motorway automatic reliable accord, buy a fast track/road/kit car such as a Caterham 7 and finally a motorbike. However I am now moving to London where none of this is relevant anymore, as I will be...
It is possible to record the gap that is left between cars, and in fact cameras are setup to do just this in Germany. Bumper to bumper at 70mph is worst than a higher speed with a big braking distance. I am sure these cameras would make lots of money for the government which it seems is what...
I must say under 6 seconds to 60 3k sounds exactly like an MR2 Turbo to me. I guess RWD will be a welcome change.
Whats the difference in handling between the mr2 n/a and the turbo?
In the police chase, they start by pulling a burnout as shown above, and then they ride off at a speed which it would be possible for the car to follow, with a max speed around 115mph. It is interesting to see how the police car is going full pelt and the bike is hardly trying. Eventually the...
Yep I have seen the dvd and he says that he doesn't have the keys to his GXR and his hayabusa is tuned for high speed wheelies. The conversations goes like this:
"He thinks he can beat ya he wants to race ya"
"Just come to Nurburgring next year" Ghost rider
"Nurburgring, thats a track...
