I absolutely love my gti 6 BTW, can nail most things off the lights and handling is awesome. I have just an aftermarket air filter fitted and i just cant help but nail it every time I get in it for the 4k plus rpm howl :) Just sold it to my mate, cheers for the advice anyway.

well, im a little worried about the running costs. I have ran a 306gti 6 for the last couple of years and do roughly 350-400 miles a week so I am not dillusional about how much petrol and servicing etc, just dont want my MPG/servicing to double. How do you find the TT MPG wise?

I am on the verge of buying one and wondered if there were any owners I could ask a few questions to?

I can believe this, I like the horror stories they go through in the prep talk. You get to see loads of photos where people have tried to ramp up a sand dunes and rolled the car or hit some standing water and flipped the car at 90mph.

They dont seem to do subtle, just in your face tactless stuff. Is quite a novelty at first, but really grates after a while. I dont think they have anyway near the budget TV adverts have hear, well you can tell that just by looking at them.

I returned about 3 weeks ago and you could still self drive.
