To be honest if you have the money for an FX-57 then an X2-4800 plus some High End air cooling should see you hit around 2.6 - 2.7Ghz on an X2-4800 now thats 2 cpus not one, later this year Unreal 2007 is released and will greatly benefit from the presence of dual core..... trust me I havnt...

No figure, why would your 2.8Ghz opty out perform my 2.75Ghz dual core...... it dosnt FACT. clock for clock a dual core will beat a single FACT, think you really need to do your research a bit more..... :D

Didnt say that did I, what I said was Dual Cores & SLi/Crossfire........ The only reason the ATI cards fair so bad is there poor adoption of SM3 nothing else, if ATI got that right then there wouldnt be a conflict between low performance cards and the ubber ones would there ;)

Never seen such a big bunch of babys in my life..... 3DMark06 dosnt represent real world gaming, but what is does represent is what bleeding edge tech is capible of, i.e dual cores and sli/crossfire..... while they may not be the best for gaming at the moment they will be in the future, hence...

I dont think people are really getting the point of this release from Futuremark, its what the future will be like when Dual Core is optomized in games, how many Single cores are in the top 10 in the rankings in the benchmark thread 1, yes 1 out of 10 and its sits in 10th place 1-9 are Dual...

I think people who post a ORb link and there scores can be trusted without a doubt, no need to look at the links people will soon find out if there cheaters..... yea showing a screen res is all thats needed, I think some are very iffy.... suicide runs should be allowed, but again must prove res...

WELSHTOM I think we need proof of screen res aswell to prevent cheaters....... i.e screenie showing res or ORB link.

Yea there good, shame they dont have any plan to support a 64 bit OS. I have a PVR-350 and would love to us it under Windows x64..... shame darn shame ;)

Great idea but also do one with dual and single combined :) would nice to see for once that dual cores are really the best.
