actually PGR3 renders below 720p initially (only just though), then it upscales to 720p then to your output res...it's naughty, and not standard for 360 games which are usually 720p native. still 1280x768 on my 2005FPW looks awesome! and the game is great fun too.

not sure if you can do what you're trying, after all if you're cloning a screen, surely it has to be at the same res, and obviously a tv can't do 1280x1024 without panning. horizontal span is probably the best route.

apparently virgin megastore Oxford street london have 10 more 360's in stock today, but they're probably already sold out, it's 1pm now. Guru, could you have a test with the 1360x768 option? and see if the scaling is better...some macro shots of edges will probably reveal a slight difference.

is that a 2005fpw? what settings on the 360 give you the best image quality? i suppose i'm pretty interested even if that's a 2405fpw

lol i don't know, but as you can see in the picture, my keyboard from a 1998 DAN purchase (a smokin 400Mhz Pentium II) still works, thus i've never replaced my keyboard.
