I shall pinch (most of) these settings! I don't do anything with photos after taking them really so JPEG in raw mode is fine for me. Do you have any idea how the swipe or hold shutter button taking an extra photo works, when enabling take photo as soon as shutter button is touched in camera...

Updated, turned off adaptive colour tone, switched from natural to vivid and then whacked the vividness slider in advanced to max. Definitely a difference to before! Then switched back to natural and turned back on adaptive colour tone as I'm used to that now!

That does look cool! I like my grey one but I do have a mint green skin from Xtremeskins on at the moment as they were doing a deal, under £4 each, and BOGOF on Wednesday's. Got some others but my daughter likes green so insisted I installed that one first! It's textured, feels nice, not that I...

What is this "electrostatic dusting" thing that it has? I am intrigued! Does it have a hole for the camera? How far over the edge of the screen does it go? The Spigen one is literally display area and no more (on the sides), the black framed ones tend to cover further.

I'm still using a Spigen tempered glass. It's ok now the glue around the edges has worn off and stopped attracting so much dust etc! I think I'd replace it with one with black edges if or when the time comes though, due to the non flat bezel edges (the black edges ones extend out further than...

S24 Ultra does get dimmer than my previous phones. My Xperia 1 IV would exhibit smearing when scrolling pages with dark elements, which is an inherent trait of OLED panels (and VA panels too). I've not noticed that on this S24 Ultra screen, even with it set dimmer than the 1 IV would go.

Do you use NextDNS paid @superleeds27 ? I've tried the free DNS ad blocking services previously and found they would block click-thru ads, such as links on the Google feed, with no way of white listing.

I've switched over to using Edge recently. I do like Samsung Internet, but it has no desktop counterpart, and I find things like being able to access my tabs on my phone or computer from the other device handy. Copilot does AI page summary too :) I use Bitwarden so as to never be tied down to...

Mine today, off charger 7h30m ago, 29% used, 2h35m SoT, of which 0.2% has been used by AOD. My phone is in my pocket when I'm not using it during work days. I imagine it'd be different if it were out on a desk or similar, though I do find that after a while it'll turn off AOD until I tap or pick...

@EsaT cheers for that! It won't stop people worrying that they have a faulty phone, though! It's almost as if phones with multiple lenses haven't already existed for several years to demonstrate this "issue" prior to the S24 series...

Non-issue. The lenses are in physically different places on the phone. If the subject is close, the effect will be more pronounced. Try closing one of your eyes and looking at something close, and then look at the same item with your other eye instead...

Any idea what the difference is with Samsung + Premium and Curve's own offerings? Last time I tried Samsung Pay it wasn't possible to get the paid ones without cancelling the Samsung one and getting Curve instead, which all had to be done by contacting them. The silliest generative fill I've...

I'm sticking with Google Pay as Samsung Pay doesn't support apps. At least Wetherspoon and McDonald's I've seen so far! I've added Google Wallet to the side bar thingie so can access it relatively quickly, and can of course pay with a default card on tap as long as phone is unlocked.

I still can't bring myself to go screen protector-less though! Even though with a glass screen protector I lose one of the main selling...
