c'mon guys

all seems fine when its in safe mode. ive had it running for 40 minutes without any issue which it didnt do before. Ive even given it a task of disk defragmentation and it is still running fine. its obviously a software issue. got to try and find the bios battery now

i know u say u hate the macs.....but for an extra bit of cash....u can pick up a good mac book with OSX on and if ** lucky....u can even get the new lepard version much better than a pc for photo and music edditing

ive never used linux .....wouldnt know where to start! lol really am thinkin about buyin a mac soon. OSX lepard looks like a really smart bit of kit

fans are making all the right noises, and ive un clogged any vents that are filled with dust. The laptop isnt getting as hot as it used to and the blue screen of death kicks in briefly before it shuts down which leads me to think its not so much a heat issue any more. Ill have it apart again...
