    Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

I'm not doing anything really other than my monitor turning off as usual after 5 minutes of not being used  Just using it normally, split windows on the desktop etc. Pixel refresh happens regularly enough for me not to worry and the 3 year warranty is always there. I feel like if I...

I got 5% off my order with my code through Perks at Work (will need to check if it's still the same one for me) even although it said not on newly released monitors. So I got lucky with an early discount.

I noticed it initially...then after that first day I haven't noticed it really since  Your eyes quickly get used to it as it's not that extreme.

Yeah, you'll need to have it hooked up to the PC to apply the firmware :)

    The Chosen One - ASUS PG32UCDM - worlds first 4k 240hz QD-OLED

So far I've only tested with Call of Duty but HDR automatically kicks in when I load the game up as I've decided to stick SDR on the desktop. The Dolby Vision indicator etc comes up as soon as I load into the game and to be fair it looks fantastic.

Got things set up now, a lot bigger than I remember a 32inch monitor being...but it's absolutely fine on the desk. The pictures don't do it justice but the screen is stunning, the black levels are something else (used the LG HDR video) but I've yet to try any games etc. For those curious...

It's arrived...just outside the window of delivery. Now to resist for the rest of the afternoon and get my Philips Hue attached to the back

Thanks, yeah I've been trying to stay on top of it, cleaning it out once a month and it's looking great to be honest. But definitely need to stay on top of it.

I have previous experience with replacing an Alienware monitor, as smooth a process as anything. I simply packed up the screen (only the screen) and handed it over to the courier as an exchange for the replacement which was fully packaged with all accessories again. Was essentially sorted in 2...

Probably notification of a shipment arriving by 23rd and had allocated original orders on the shipment due around 28th or whatever. Just luck of the draw really, given up trying to understand any e-tailer when it comes to orders. Certainly never a first come first served situation these days.

6th when the date was the 28th...but I believe you ordered the day after when it was showing the 23rd

Perhaps that scheduled for production message has always been there but can't say I've noticed it as prominently before...perhaps it's just people having theirs shipped and the envy

As they'd already had the payment approved it'll simply be taken at the time of dispatch (as you've said) even although it's dropped off from pending for now. Mines showing 28th ship and 29th delivery but that will hopefully change when it moves to "in production". Still hopeful it'll be...

Thanks for your insight mate, that was my thoughts as well in terms of what my approach would be. I'm not terribly concerned at all with it :)
