Is the performance of the Delta's so much better than the akasa ambers even with the noise problem. from what i can gather the ambers are quiet and efficent. :confused:

the fans don't work against each other due to where they are positioned, the exhaust cooler is closer to the rear of the case whilst the zalamn is middlish, the air the exhaust fan is taking away is air coming off the card - abit like this: good old paint ;) i'm yet to smoke bomb my...

zalman all the way, to exhaust the hot air from the zalman i'm trialing a pci slot exhaust fan on its lowest setting to get rid of the hot air from the zalman - so far it seems to work as it hasn't affected the case temps. :D

you'd be surprised by running them at 7v how the temps won't change that much but the noise will ;)

i've been told that havinga higher htt is better than having a high multi. ie it is better to have 240x10 than 218x11 i think this is due to the htt affecting other components whereas the mulit affects only the cpu :confused:

do sparlies and artifacting eventaully damage the card then? i've got rivatuner now and tick the box you suggested however i don't know how to apply these settings!!!??? anybody? cheers

variables are (what i can think of any way) airflow through the case: is it being disrupted otherer HSF near by: your 6800 like mine kicks out plenty of heat i solved the problem by sticking zalman cooler on and fitting one of those PCI slot exhaust fans under neath at 5v to suck the hot...

i've trawlled through a few pages but i can't find what i want so i'm gonna ask. i'm waiting for my new braodband connection to be fitted so i'm not online yet i was wondering any one can ppoint me in the direction of some new single player maps to keep me occupied. oh and is 512k bb good...

is that safe to do? i've done a few more tests and it seems the best core/ mem config i've got to is just over 6000marks and thats 505/1.1 with i run 520/1.5 i get just 6120. will have a look at that rivatuner proggy and let you know how it has gone. cheers

ultramon is good, however if your using an nvidia card you can go in the settings as set the display to horizontal span (with the added option of which screen to spread from ie 1-2 or 2-1) there is also a tick box that you tick if you don't want the taskbar to spread make sure that is unticked...

jelle keeps his average higher when he is behind, its like he toys with his prey before going in for the kill! for saying he has only been playing 4 years he has the raw talent , i just think he needs to work on his psycological edge (his speed to make others rush affects him) oh and he needs...

that looks fine to me too, however (posh but), i find that if it is gonna fail it is after an hour has passed, if like me you just had 2 hours spare to watch the darts its worth just leaving it for a while longer just to be safe... :P

daven, what is youir spec are you overclocked at 48 load? there are more variables than your hsf in the equation as to why you are at 48c its worth fiddling with them, it might cost you less :)

been interested in darts since playing at uni to see a kid (even though i'm the same age) win a 7-5 match against barney is awesome. wish i had put i bet on at the start - was 100-1 to win :(
