Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

That looks rather interesting - what would you recommend from their Base range to pair with it, something good with milk. Have you tried their Mexican Washed?

Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

Been there, done that, would totally recommend it. NZ holds its value very well, so you can even look upon this as an experiment - if you do not like the grinder, you should be able to sell it on with minimal cost of ownership. I still have my Zero from the days when I had a Barista Express...

Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

Money on a grinder is far more important than on a machine. Grinder dictates the quality of the coffee, the machine just helps you get there. For example, you can get some incredible results from a Niche Zero and a Sage Duo Temp Pro. Something like that leaves you plenty of room for changing...

Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

Haven't posted in years, but stole some roaster recommendations from this thread and thought I might as well add some advice. Brita is not fine for a coffee machine, unless you want to mess the insides up over time. What comes out the tap in the first place will dictate how relevant that is...

    No Man's Sky

@Draeger - yes you can. I believe it is down on the d-pad and then scroll left to Summon Ship. Some excellent content coming in 4.0 released on Friday - good read here for any NMS fans.

*The Official PlayStation 5 (PS5) Thread*

Outside of the official Sony offerings, does anyone have experience with or a recommendation for suitable replacement covers for the PS5? Looking to get a black set so it does not stand out as much.

    What watch do you wear?

That is the plan! It will certainly settle some of the nerves I have about not buying through an AD.

    What watch do you wear?

Just called Rolex and they will take the watch in for service and only give an estimate if it is genuine, but will not officially state that the watch is genuine.

    What watch do you wear?

I have found a private seller who has a BNIB Pelagos, with all the original stickers still in place as well as a purchase receipt... but I have no way of knowing for sure if the watch is genuine. The chap seems legit, but you would certainly want to appear legit, right? Is there a way of...

    What watch do you wear?

Thank you very much for all of that information! I'm off to the US later this month, so will probably put an order in for some of the US straps you mentioned. Let me know if you want anything and I'll add it to the order.

    What watch do you wear?

Do you have a list of all the NATO straps you have tried out, over the years? My interest is primarily 22mm for my potential Pelagos, but that size would also fit my other watch as well.

    What watch do you wear?

Thank you for your input, gents - very much appreciated. Used is a perfectly acceptable option, but one that I would have little idea of where to start looking. Chrono24 was recommended by a watch-collecting friend, but I wouldn’t know what was trustworthy and what wasn’t! For those of you...

    What watch do you wear?

Having searched the thread, I see there are a few people who have owned a Tudor Pelagos and I was wondering if I could get a little help with sourcing one of my own. I have tracked down an AD who has both the new in-house movement and, they say, a genuinely unworn, unsized and unmolested ETA...

*****Official BBQ Thread - Suns out, Buns out!*****

Hi all - would like some help, if you would be so kind? It is my old man's birthday today and aside from his usual presents, I gave him a choice of a new toy for the garden and he would like a Weber Spirit BBQ to replace his ageing, knackered Char Broil from the US...

Best place for new switches/sockets etc

Can you do me a huge favour? That narrow cupboard by the oven unit - how does it open? I keep looking at it and trying to work it out but the reflection is playing havoc with my tired brain.

    Heating system leak?

TBH I don't know what I was thinking. What I had in my head and what came out through my fingers was not necessarily connected.

    Heating system leak?

With the pressure drop you are experiencing, I would be surprised if there was not something noticeable when you lift the carpets. Can your plumber measure the pressure at each radiator, to see if they can narrow down the run that is affected?

Not impossible to find the leak, just time-consuming. How much of your pipework is in the ground?

DIY Kitchens... still the best value for money?

In case anyone is looking for true handleless, Howdens now do one. According to my carpenters, who fitted a couple of their showrooms with the new kitchens, they have adapted their existing carcasses to fit a rail, so there are some idiosyncrasies with some of the units. But worth a look.
