Have you been through Drabnir's Grotto ? That is the way I went, and it takes you through to the island. It is a bit of a maze and I think there are a couple of boss fights, but there is some good loot (There is a good Warrior body armour piece in a chest, along with a good Fighter weapon)...
Dragon's Dogma 2 - 9/10
I haven't technically finished yet (Done the main story) as you can get a bit of extra content with the alternate ending. So apart from the technical issues (I didn't really have an issue at 1080p with a 5700X and 6700XT) this game was an absolute blast. So much to do if...
Just finished the main story at level 70. I decided to go back though and do the alternate ending to get the extra content. Now to go and buy some of the better weapons/armour and carry on :D
So I decided to try out Magic Archer and ran into a Drake and a Cyclops :D Bit of a struggle even at level 67, but managed to take them both down. Will probably revert back to Thief or Spearhand though, as I prefer melee.
You can kill anything even at level 1 if you are good enough. They are weak to fire, so setting the wings alight will do a good job of stopping them flying. For a melee character you can climb on their backs and attack the wings. Just make sure to have plenty of stamina recovery items on you if...
Not sure if my game is bugged with the Dragonplague mechanic. I hired a Capcom pawn out in the wilds (Due to one of my other pawns falling off a cliff) and I immediately got the Dragonplague popup warning. So I dismissed that one pretty sharpish, but I haven't seen any symptoms with my pawns...
The key with the Saurians (Lizards) is to try and attack them from behind, and chop the tail off. If you have a thief then they can usually do that with the fast attack speed. There are different variants of the Saurians as well :D
I found it a struggle early game, but it is a lot smoother...
Wakestone shards.
You can get an item called Dragon's Gaze. When you use it, it will show any Wakestone shards in the vicinity.

Ah right. Fired one more rock and it opened up.
There are also two other trebuchets in that area in case you haven't found them. If you haven't then you need to go to location III first as that opens up the area to get to IV.
Just found a Trebuchet near the ancient battlegrounds and fired a couple of rocks from it. The camera panned over to where it hit, but it didn't break anything. Wondering if those explosive barrels might work
I am currently level 48 and I am still finding things in the first region. I stumbled across the Dullahan Boss at night when I was heading over to fight a Drake. Also found a few caves that I had missed. Just started in the second region and I have noticed that the basic mobs are a bit tougher...
Yeah I have High spellhold on my Sorcerer along with Augural Flare, Meteoron and Maelstrom. It's a bit hit and miss though as sometimes my Sorcerer will use one of the ultimate spells on a pack of Goblins :D
I had a 'Lemmings' moment with all my 3 pawns. I managed to fall down a steep cliff to my death, so I used a wakestone and the game decided to spawn me at the bottom. No way I could climb back up, so I just stood there helplessly as my pawns decided to follow me :D Luckily I managed to revive...
The damage output was good, but I wasn't a fan of the 'charged' attacks as it seems a bit situational, and you have to time it right. I found with faster enemies it just wasn't cutting it and I was missing more than I was hitting, or I was getting hit before the attack went off.
I like the...
I put 4 ranks into Warrior but it felt way too slow and clunky. Started as a Fighter (6 ranks) and I am now playing as a thief which is a lot of fun. Even with an average set of daggers the damage output is very good due to the insane attack speed.
