Does seem to be EMR so I'd honestly just contact them as they should be able to confirm. You wouldn't be the first or last person to want to cross it as its pretty spectacular.
I did do a bit of digging and someone mentioned that the 1947 Corby to Melton train passed over it last year. There...
If that is the case and if you get no useful suggestions from Asus support etc I'd live chat with the retailer and say it's faulty, say you've contacted Asus support and they say its faulty. That way you should be able to return it for a replacement / refund without much messing about.
I was talking specifically about your board. If you scroll down from that diagram to page 1-4 it explains how they are divided.
Asus boards should come with 3 years warranty so you'll be covered. Might be quicker to go through the retailer but see if Asus support have any other suggestions...
From what I understand two of the slots use CPU PCIe lanes and one uses the chipset PCIe lanes. The two CPU ones are the top and the bottom left. So if you are swapping between the bottom two slots that kinda suggests a board issue rather than a CPU problem as logically if it was the CPU the...
If it isn't showing up in the BIOS at all then there isn't a lot you can do. It seems you've already ruled out the board by moving the OS drive to the other slots which prove they work so it all points to the new M.2 drive being the issue. Either both are DOA (not impossible but unlikely) or...
Funds should only have a temp hold on them so should be automatic really. Only time I've had issues with ordering from Steam is when I had my VPN on my mistake.
Not really picked up much this year apart from Dave the Diver because everyone seems to rave about it. Everything else I'm interested...
This is pretty much the long and short of it. Their CS isn't as good as it once was but at least when you return something you get a no fuss refund or exchange, and you don't have to go through the motions of explaining everything when they start kicking up a fuss like you do with some retailers.
Is the replacement the same make and model? Might be some sort of strange compatibility issue. Rare these days but it does happen, often solved by a SSD firmware update or BIOS update.
As Kirby Wurm above suggests you could try it in another system or an external usb enclosure.
Assuming you...
Makes sense, mine is a RMA replacement from October last year. Might try a few more factory resets but honestly its pretty annoying having to turn it off every day. I see another RMA in my future lol.
Hmm. Seems pot luck what version it ends up on although the firmware updater tool file name does state M0B205. I even re-ran it and it says its up to date with a different version than the first run so it definately updated.
Did a bit more testing and strangely the lighting settings seems to...
Has anyone who has done the AW3423DW firmware upgrade (kinda impressed they managed to make it updatable tbf) to M0B106 noticed their RGB lighting settings getting reset after each power cycle?
I've always set "All Zones:" to Off but since the update it keeps reverting. I've tried a factory...
